Hopefully each and everyone of you has had a safe and enjoyable summer spending quality time with family and friends.  It is an honour and a privilege to be returning to Merlin Area Public School and to work in the Merlin community.  Our goal is to assure the healthy, safe development of every child so that each may have the knowledge and competency to be successful in a rapidly changing world.  I know we can all work together to help our young people reach this goal.

  I want to thank all of our parents, staff students and volunteers who made last year so successful, we couldn’t do it without you.  To have a successful school it takes the dedicated efforts of parents, students, family members, community leaders and educators working together.  I wish all of you the very best as we all begin a new, exciting school year.  -  Mr. Hodgson
